HISTORY

The Dixie Building was a trendsetter. At one point in time, it was the tallest building in downtown Greensboro. This inspired the transition between low rise commercial to multi-story office blocks. It originally housed The Dixie Fire Insurance Company.

Today, the building still flaunts it's original granite facade, arched windows, dentil cornice, and Tennessee marble staircase.
