ABOUT
ABOUT
The Dixie Building is a beautifully remodeled office building in the heart of Downtown Greensboro with a rich history. Built in 1904, the Dixie Building was Guilford County's first skyscraper!
Today, the building houses several different businesses and offices spaces ranging from 250 to 5,000 square feet.
HISTORY
The Dixie Building was a trendsetter. At one point in time, it was the tallest building in downtown Greensboro. This inspired the transition between low rise commercial to multi-story office blocks. It originally housed The Dixie Fire Insurance Company.
Today, the building still flaunts it's original granite facade, arched windows, dentil cornice, and Tennessee marble staircase.
